As the name suggests, this base material boosts friction. When used as a base before applying chalk, it provides an unprecedented level of friction.

Although the product is difficult to apply, several test subjects advised that they would rather it be difficult to apply than sacrifice high performance. This product was developed as a culmination of Tokyo Powder's research into "a product with simply the strongest grip," and is now synonymous with "chalk base."

No resin is used. BOOST is 52% magnesium carbonate, 28% purified water, and the remaining 19% food additives. While some alcohol may remain in the product, it is safe as long as it is not ingested in large quantities. Even if left outdoors, it will dissolve in water or ionize and return to nature over time.
